About Me

Hi! My name is Laci.

I’m 26 years old, with a background in metal fabrication, plenty of energy, strong ambition, and probably far too many hobbies to list.

But there is one thing that has always defined me:

The desire for adventure.

And above all, a passion for camping, traveling, and discovering new places.

I have always been drawn to the feeling of freedom.

The freedom to simply get into my vehicle, hit the road, and feel at home wherever the journey takes me.

My Story

The Story Behind AVATA

The desire to explore this beautiful world has always been a part of me.

I never wanted to simply visit places, I wanted to truly experience them.

That mindset eventually led me to buy my first van: a Volkswagen Multivan.

I started building it into exactly what I had imagined.

Piece by piece, I equipped it with everything I felt was missing, transforming it into a vehicle that could be the perfect companion for every adventure.

Almost everything was ready.

Almost.

There was one important thing missing:

A proper roof rack.

I wanted a system that could carry a solar panel, roof box, lights, a kayak, an inflatable boat, and anything else I might need — all at the same time.

My goal was simple:

Complete freedom. Without compromises.

I spent weeks searching.

And what I found was disappointing.

Most systems were either unnecessarily expensive, built from weak materials, or simply lacked the functionality and flexibility I was looking for.

That’s when I asked myself a simple question:

“What if I built it myself?”

I wanted a system that was:

• Strong enough for extreme loads
• Reliable enough that corrosion and failures would never be a concern
• Versatile enough to adapt to both my current and future needs
• Fully customizable
• And something I would never need to replace

Since the available space on a vehicle is naturally limited, one thing quickly became obvious:

If I wanted to use solar panels, a roof box, a kayak, and other equipment at the same time, I needed a completely different solution.

That’s when the idea was born:

“What if the roof rack itself was adjustable?”

Adjustable height.

Adjustable positioning.

True modularity.

When the first working prototype was finally completed, I quickly realized it offered far more advantages than I had originally imagined.

In low garages, it could simply be lowered.

In taller spaces, it could remain raised, even when fully loaded.

Modules such as solar panels and other accessories could remain permanently installed.

For the first time, the compromises I had accepted as unavoidable simply disappeared.

During the development process, one thing became especially clear:

A huge number of roof rack systems on the market are significantly overpriced.

In many cases, the high price isn't backed by genuine innovation — it's backed by marketing.

That frustration became my motivation.

And that is how AVATA was born.

Along with the MRS — the Modular Roof Rack System.

A system designed by someone who actually uses it.

A system built for real adventures.

Real loads.

Real freedom.

With AVATA, you're not simply buying a roof rack.

You're getting a system shaped by real-world experience.

Built exactly the way it should be.
